Our Spring 2 Learning

We enjoyed making our own Easter hats and loved showing them off.

We had a Visit to the park as part of our science learning on microhabitats. We found lots of different minibeast and even saw a squirrel in a tree. We learned alot and had lots of fun!

Geography Day! We were looking at Belgium. We came to school dressed in the colours of the flag, black, red and yellow. We learned alot about the human and physical features found in and around Belgium. With our new knowledge we created some amazing travel brochures.

In Maths we have been learning all about volume and capacity and enjoyed taking our maths learning outside.

In Science we were looking at and grouping things that were alive, dead and never living.

Our first experiment on science day was to test which liquids will freeze. We chose to use milk, oil, washing up liquid, blue food colouring, vinegar and juice.

We invited our Parents/Carers into school to talk about the importance of reading both at home and in school. Not sure who enjoyed more, the children or the parents!
